HOPES & ASPIRATIONS

Would love to share these words from a friend of mine Cedric Tsiga - https://plus.google.com/u/0/104322865577716538839/posts/dFRUqvHUS3M

Another year starts and with it, new hopes and aspirations – a faint desire that sprouts in every human heart that speaks of happiness, prosperity and goodness to come.
The year gone-by might have shown grim state of affairs around the world with stories of bloodshed, tragedy and human failures never ceasing to seize the headlines.

But the excitement of a new year brings about an anticipation of a better future. This is one real moment that will touch the fabrics of human emotions that entails not only hope, but a reason to keep smiling and living life as it is.

The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals. Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source - a Sower of Dreams - just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.

Happy New Year 2015!

We all have hopes and aspirations and for us to aspire to become what we want to be something has to inspire us. That is the Vision. As the new year starts come up with a vision of where you want to be by 31st December, 2015. This will be you daily motivation and even as you pray to God you will be sure of what you want to achieve in life. Like Donna Partow says record you vision and this can be in pictures or audio. Look at at it every day or even listen to it every day. This will act as a reminder.

The Bible says, ' where there is no vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18.'

Happy 2015.

CHRISTMAS MOMENTS

Wondering what the Lamaz did for Christmas - wonder no more. They had a blast and a blast. We were blessed to host our Dear Friends Kyle, Sarah and Obie in one of our villages (Kasheshero) and this left me more of a celeb as i went down in the Guinness book of records for being the first to host Bazungus in the whole village (Kirera).

Below is Sarah in Rwandese attire, Kyle and Obie. Which i hope she liked. http://ourfoxblog.blogspot.com/  - didn't they look smart.

It was also the first time my Darling Hubby got to see where his wife comes from and i must say he did not expect the love that he received from the old Folks.

On 26th December, 2014,  i also turned 32 years old - Gosh!! i am growing old and thanks to God Almighty for every moment that i enjoyed in this year. Looking forward to a great 2015.

Appreciation to  Kyle, Sarah and Obie Fox for spending their precious time with us. Thanks to my husband and kids for accepting to spend this Christmas with my family and of course to my Dad
and family members for welcoming us and showering us with love during the festive season. I can't forget Papa Jack Behwera and Johnson Otunga for hosting us in your homes. We pray that God will continue to bless you as we begin 2015.

fox blog: What's in the name?

While i am so happy that my dear friends Sarah and Kyle Fox are having a baby gal, i am so excited too that Ariella will have a friend as well and she will be a big sister. It is also evident from Ariella's name that these women (Ariella & Ella) will be friends for life as they live for the Lord and go out there to make disciples for HIM. Can't wait to carry you in my hands baby Ella.

Congs my friends.

NEW YEAR IN STYLE (RUTH ARIELLA)

ACHIEVING MY 2014 GOALS
Happy New Year to all who take the time to read our blog. We are happy to have been walking with you in the past year and we hope that you will stay with us in 2014. Happy New Year to you again.
Just a few days ago, we started our 2014 in style. Our family was blessed with Princess Ruth Ariella on 2nd January, 2014 at 9:40am at Kampala Hospital with the help of wonderful Mid-wives (Pennie & Robinah). We thank God for this day and for the gift of entrusting us with his lioness. We can only promise that with your help God we will do our best.

We also pray that she will bring additional joy and blessings to the family. Special thanks to my Hubby (Emma Lama), Sister – in – Law (Anita Ingre), Gertrude (Friend) and Doreen Kembabazi usual culprit for always standing with the Lamaz. Being a friend a sister and a true Metu. To the team at NV for just standing with me during when we needed you most. Thanks always. To the friends that visited us in hospital and home and those calls that kept coming in really encouraged us.
For those that stood with us in prayer (our parents, UCF Family and Kyle and Sarah Fox) we say thank. This blog will show Ariella how much love she received from all of you many years from today.

We’re a few days into 2014. A new chapter for us as a family and I as an individual. A GLORIOUS opportunity to begin thinking, behaving and producing like the person I’ve always wanted to be.

THREE things to bear in mind;-
1.      NOT to allow this New Year to become a repeat of last year.
2.      NOT to make the same choices and run the same habits of 2013.
3.      NOT to sit on the fence and coast through these next few weeks when they present the single best chance to make the new choices that will revolutionize my life.
4.      NOT to make excuses and give my personal power away to them.

Today… I would like to borrow Robin Shama’s advice just to get my 2014 goals happening in high – gear. These are the 8 finest strategies that he shares that can make ambitions come true and I want to commit that I will start as soon as possible to execute them;-

‘Tactic #1: Do a Daily Goal Review. We live in a time of intense noise and distraction. It’s just too easy to start off these first few weeks of this New Year being really really busy chasing the wrong things. So, my suggestion: every morning–while the rest of the world is asleep–take just 5 pure minutes to reread and then actually rewrite your top five 2014 goals. This will boost your focus dramatically and imprint them with total clarity on your subconscious mind’.
Action points
v  Resume my daily early morning devotions
v  Review my goals
v  Have a to do list

Tactic #2: Go Complaint-Free. You empower everything you complain about. You strengthen the negative things you speak of. And you energize the problems you vocalize. To nail your 2014 goals, go on a 90 Day Complaint-Free Diet. Enough said.
v  This needs to be more than 90 days.

‘Tactic #3: Clean All Messes. Masters of Goal Achievement are minimalists. They get that messes create distraction. And distraction reduces your power to achieve every goal you set. The messy office+the disorganized home+the dirty financial life+cluttered mind all weaken your ability to bring your natural laser-like focus to bear on your greatest desires.’

‘Tactic #4: Become an Incrementalist. Bottom line: 5 little goals done a day lead to 1850 goals achieved by December 31, 2014. An awesome work and personal life is more about evolution than revolution. Get serious about the small wins’.

Tactic #5: Work In 90 Day Themes. I’ve been teaching this to the billionaire clients I coach for years. The best period to set goals within is a 90 day chunk. And set a theme for every quarter. For the first 90 days of 2014,
1ST QUARTER - “Look 10 years younger + feel 20 years stronger”
2ND QUARTER - “The Quarter of Financial Transformation”
3RD QUARTER - “My Best 90 Family Days”
4TH QUARTER -   “3 Months of Best of Breed Productivity and counting it all joy.”

‘Tactic #6: Imprint Your December 31 Statement. Here’s my coaching question to you: “If every single thing you want to happen over the next 12 months happened, what would it all look like?” Fast tip: Clarity is Power. Write out your answer in a single paragraph (or record it on your iPhone). Review it DAILY in your Holy Hour. You’ll go from distracted to massively concentrated. On the few things that count’.

‘Tactic #7: Join A Mastermind. You can’t do it alone. One of the reasons my online course Your Absolute Best Year Yet is one of the most powerful and advanced personal transformation programs in the world today is because you’ll get the support of other go-getters just like you over the 12 weeks of the course. You need to partner with other people. To get their encouragement. To feed off their energy. To share your hopes and dreams with theirs’.

Tactic #8: Outlearn Last Year’s Self. The real key to executing flawlessly on every one of your 2014 goals is to outlearn and outthink who you were last year. As you think better, you’re certain to perform better. And all it takes is one new insight or idea–strongly acted on–to take you to a completely different place mentally+physically+financially+socially and spiritually this New Year. So do what the most successful people on the planet do: invest in your learning and self-education.

HAPPY 2014.
