2ND ANNIVERSARY

For those that read my blog, i thank you. I thought i would share with you how my day has been as we celebrate our Anniversary.

25th February, 2013 - NIGHT
Jezreel falls down and  he gets hurt badly  - his lower lip gets injured and the whole night we are up crying. This is because i wasn't sure of what had happened to my dear son and it happens that the dad is not at home. This was a miserable night. WE then finaly get some sleep at around 4:00am. WE wake up late to go to the day care and work. Thanks To Micheal Muwoola our dear neighbor and friend who gives us a ride.

7:45am i get my phone and i find very many missed calls and a message from my dear Husband
"Morning Luv, if you are still home check under the dvd, i forgot my documents. Put them on Gaga at 7am. Luv i must say this you got me...

Was busy thinking how he could forget his papers and how i was going to go to the Bus station after dropping Jezreel, was also late for work ...it was even after 7am.

Okey guys - this is what i found, "documents";-

" Had planned a nice quiet dinner at Humura Hotel on Yusuf Lule Road, but the Lord thinks i should be on another Road. Go ahead and have one for us!

What more to say, Valentine or no valentine, anniversary or no anniversary, I LOVE YOU "WOMAN" till death do us part. Am so sorry i haven't been so practical yet love is. Never mind, am learning and our love will improve with age. May God bless our Love and Marriage.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LUV LUV

Yours me your Husband

WHAT I AM THINKING

I know this will not go well with you...but going to Humura alone will bring tears and the whole time i will be crying for the little Jezreel. I had ordered our cake from Joel so i guess i will share it with the people that have brought light in my Journey with you...i guess Karen Bahizi and the HR Ladies. I would have wished to share it with Angie Kat ,Mercy Catherine, The Jets, C25 Family, The Akankwasas,  Kemdre, Benito, Ingre, Jackie, The Musokes, Kwizo and all our Brides maid and Groom men for both the wedding and the Give Away, The Rugaris, The Ruganzus, The Tumwesigyes  and of course our Big Family UCF as well but i think it would be so inconveniencing to get these people from their places. This to show them that we appreciate them for walking with us this far. We love you and always think about you.

YES OR YES I GUESS IT IS A YES

Getting to the Greater Heights

Dear My friends,

As i write this a lot  is going on in my mind and i am thinking about all the resolutions i had made and i realise there is no God in anything. It is just about me. I loved the Sermon by Elder Patrick Nagaya Yesterday 13th January 2013.

His first statement keeps appearing to me."If God was to come today and ask you the one thing you would want him to do for you this Year - what would it be?" Nice question aha

You won't believe what came to my mind first - more children i shouted  out.

He then took us to a tour in the Bible with  scriptures - What did Solomon Say when he was asked the same question"

1 Kings 3:9-14

New International Version (NIV)
So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. 11 So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, 12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for—both wealth and honor—so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings. 14 And if you walk in obedience to me and keep my decrees and commands as David your father did, I will give you a long life.”

From the above verses i realize that i have been mourning over the problems that i am facing and not letting God do his work in me. You might be facing mob challenges but like God told Solomon, we need to seek Him first and then the rest shall be added unto us.

I was also reminded of Matt 6:25

Matthew 6:25-34

New International Version (NIV)

Do Not Worry

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Oh God thank you for feeding my soul.

STUDYING 1ST SAMUEL3

STUDYING 1ST SAMUEL3

This morning as I did my Devotion, I prayed that God will teach me something new as I study 1st Samuel 3. I have been so low for some reasons and I feel I have not given my God the best in the last two weeks. God I pray that you will challenge me to know that you are still God even amidst the storms. Below are some of the lessons;-
1.      That as long as you aspire to be a leader of God’s people – you need to get a confirmation that it is a calling from God.

2.      If you accept to take on the leadership role at whatever level (Choir, usher, Pastor E.t.c) you have to know that you will be held responsible by God for whatever happens under your leadership.

3.      You are expected to be vigilant, diligent and obey the Lord and do what might appear difficult to clean it up – mess and not behave like Eli who took over a mess of his sons. God was then to destroy his family  - him inclusive because he had not done anything about the mess

4.      Children need to be dedicated to God after birth – this however does not save the person. All a dedication is - is an assurance to raise the child in the way of God. When a person comes to the age, that they are responsible enough to make their own decisions, they must come to God themselves. We call it the age of accountability. We know that Samuel had been raised right, but now, he must make his own decision to follow God. He did know of God, because he had worked in the sanctuary. He did not know the LORD personally, however. He did not know the Word of God either. Notice, the word revealed in I Samuel 3:7 "Now Samuel had not yet known the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him." We can read the Word of God, and still not know what it means, until it is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.

5.       I Samuel 3:8 "And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here [am] I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child."  We see from this that, the LORD continued to call, until somehow Samuel could know this was the LORD calling. Eli finally realizes that this is the LORD calling Samuel. We must remember that Eli was the only spiritual leader that Samuel had had. We must never discount the fact that God might be speaking to someone. When they tell us something has happened to them, we, who teach, must listen carefully to what they are saying. Then, we may give our opinion. Now, we see that Eli realizes this is the LORD. Eli still understood about visions and Words from God. The man of God had spoken to Eli, you remember. And then as long as it is God speaking you will definitely here the voice.

Thank you God for these reminders.
